Just three months after his plane crash, actor Harrison Ford returned to the air for the first time. He was seen landing a helicopter in Santa Monica Thursday.
The 72-year-old actor, who is confirmed to appear in the upcoming Star Wars film, crashed a vintage WW2 airplane in March, causing non-life-threatening injuries that still landed him in the hospital.
After just a few short months, the star returned to the same airport from which it all began and co-piloted a chopper. Photos taken on-sight showed no signs of injury or reluctance from the seasoned star when he walked off the aircraft.
In 2008, Ford told ABC about his love of flight: "I love the places you go," he told Barbara Walters. "I love the people in aviation, the people that I meet in aviation. I love seeing the world from an airplane. I'm in love with flying."
