Egyptian singer-actress Mirhan Hussein said that “Phobia;” her new TV series is “unpredictable” referring it features several drama forms and techniques.
In an interview with Arab Today, the 35 year old star expressed her delight to co-star with Egyptian actor Khaled al Sawy, who she described as friendly and always keen to work on new drama forms.
Hussein said that the Ramadan 2016 TV series named “al Sabaa Banat”, translated (the seven daughters), was a turning point in her career as all characters in the series were professionals and friendly.
The 60-episode series, directed by Mohamed al Noaaly, was screened in Ramadan 2016. Hussein revealed she is not participating in TV dramas in Ramadan 2017.
“Working for Ramadan drama is very stressful and tiring for any actor or actress. Drama has to be all the year round,” she said.
Mirhan Hussein is an Egyptian actress. She was born in Cairo in 1982, and appeared in the film “Omar we Salma 2” (Omar and Salma 2), and worked extensively in television series, including “Dawaran Shubra” (Shubra Square), “Khorm Ebra” (Eye of a Needle), “Adam we Gamila” (Adam and Gamila) and “Esm Moa'aqat” (Temporary Name.)
