John Travolta is to present the Aviation Inspiration and Patriotism Award to his fellow film star and pilot Angelina Jolie at the 12th annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards ceremony.
Jolie recently directed the movie Unbroken, which is about the life of Louis Zamperini, a World War II airman.
The Aviation Awards ceremony is to take place at the Beverly Hilton ballroom Jan. 16. Travolta is hosting the event, which will be dedicated to Bob Hoover, the first inductee of the Living Legends of Aviation, who is celebrating his 93rd birthday.
Actor and pilot Harrison Ford also will present the Harrison Ford Aviation Legacy Award to Mark Baker, president and chief executive officer of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Herb Kelleher -- founder, 20-year chief executive officer and 30-year executive chairman of Southwest Airlines -- will receive the Lifetime Aviation Entrepreneur Award. That prize will be presented by last year's recipient, Frederick Smith, founder and chief executive officer of Fedex.
