The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has launched a smart mobile consultation booth at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) headquarters.
The smart booth will allow employees at government bodies to conduct medical check-ups that include the following tests: Blood pressure, blood glucose, temperature, lipid profile, weight and height and BMI, heart rate, blood oxygen and ECG.
The booth also has a telemedicine feature that will allow patients to communicate with a specialised DHA doctor after the results are out for consultation.
This initiative is part of the DHA's many Dubai Future Accelerators projects.
The consultation booth will remain at the RTA from July 16 to 20. It will move to the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority on July 23 and will be stationed there till July 27. The mobile unit will then be available at the Dubai Municipality from July 30 to August 3; and the Dubai Land Department from August 13 to 17.
Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the DHA, said the smart consultation booth is one of the many projects that the authority is implementing as part of the future accelerator initiatives, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
