Simple and easy access navigation, tailored tabs and updated content are just some of the elements now available in Health Authority Abu Dhabi\'s (HAAD\'s) new website. A customer map is available at HAAD\'s new website www.haad.ae providing a dedicated tab with all relevant information for quick and easy access for customers, healthcare professionals, healthcare facilities, investors, media professionals, and insurance companies. The homepage provides information on current public health programmes, latest news from HAAD and a poll with a view to engage site visitors and build feedback on various topics and issues. \"The restructured enhanced HAAD website is a commitment from the authority to provide transparent information and communication within the community we serve. The focus of the website is now on the community and not on the functions of the authority as it is used to be.\" \"We have mapped our customers and taken their input into consideration while redesigning and restructuring the website. We will continue follow this process to ensure that our services meet their requirements,\" HAAD\'s CEO Eng. Zaid Al Siksek said during a special event that was attended by all HAAD employees. Health care facilities will be able to locate all related HAAD services (licensing, health audit, and HAAD Computer-Based Testing result), policies and regulations, as well as circulars under the health facilities tab. The updated e-service tab allows public to find a doctor through HAAD licensed healthcare professionals database, search for insurance products, ask poison and drug information centre and also provides useful health tools like body mass measurements (BMI). Investors and business owners also have their own tab with information on supply and demand, capacity gaps, reimbursement rates, as well as provider and payer market in the Emirate. From / Gulf News
