Heath Minister Adel el Adawy said on Tuesday that a number of health issues were discussed with Tunisian officials on ways of promoting the health field in the two countries.
The minister made the statement on the sidelines of the meetings of the joint Egyptian-Tunisian higher committee, now held in Tunisia in the presence of Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
"The discussed issues include activating and updating cooperation protocols signed earlier by the two countries in the medical and pharmaceutical fields," he said.
Adawy added that an expanded meeting will be held between the Egyptian and Tunisian health ministries at the end of this year to activate a series of deals on registering and pricing drugs.
