Saudi Minister of Health Ahmed bin Aqeel al Khateeb conferred on Sunday with Egyptian Ambassador here Afifi Abdel Wahab on means of bolstering joint cooperation in the health domain and exchange of medical expertise.
The Saudi minister praised the depth of historical relations binding the two countries.
The Egyptian diplomat, for his part, praised the expertise of Arabia in organizing the medical convoys during the Hajj season.
In statements to MENA, Ambassador Afifi said the meeting took up means of exchanging expertise in the medical domain and organizing training courses for the physicians whether in Egypt or Arabia.
The meeting was attended by the medical adviser at the Egyptian Embassy here Dr Hesham Sheha and the Saudi deputy health minister.
