In conformity with directives of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on organizing the basic healthcare for workforce of Bahrain enterprises, in coordination with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Minister of Health, Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shibabi, has directed Primary Healthcare and Financial Affairs team to meet with BCCI members in next few days to discuss the decision issued on providing facilitations required in this regard in the interest of Bahrain commercial sector.
The decision has been issued for some time and it is now to be re-activated with the adoption of few minor alterations to it.
Health Minister hailed HRH Premier's directives and interest in reinforcing coordination among ministries and government bodies and on the other side the private sector, and to consider the views of the same parties in all matters related to government regulatory initiatives and decisions for the benefit of public interest.
He stressed that HRH Premier's directives will have a deep influence over the work of government bodies and private sector, especially commercial sector. The directives will also contribute to crystalizing development visions and activating further cooperation in pursuit of achieving maximum efficiency and quality standards in the health system, as well as uplifting the overall health services provided to Bahrain's citizens and residents.
