Health Minister Sadok bin Abdelkarim Al-Shehabi today visited a number of patients at the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) and congratulated them on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr.
He also met SMC doctors and employees and was reassured about the flow of work at different wards to ensure patients are provided adequate health and therapeutic services.
Accompanied by Assistant Undersecretary for Hospital Affairs Dr. Walid Al-Manea and other SMC officials and administrative personnel, the minister met child patients in their wards and directed the medical and nursing staff to spare no efforts in serving theme and ensure their comfort.
The minister then paid a visit to Muharraq Hospital for the Elderly and was reassured about services, commending the personnel for their dedication. He also hailed the standard of geriatric services.
He commended the efforts of the hospital medical, administrative and nursing staff, stressing the ministry’s firm resolve to ensure premium services for elderly people.
