Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu is scheduled to pay a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia on Friday, the prime ministry office announced, amid ambiguity surrounding the fate of talks aimed at ending Syria’s five-year war, according to Hurriyet Daily News.
During his visit, Davutoğlu will discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and regional issues, sources from the prime minister’s office said without elaborating.
The Turkish premier will also head for the headquarters of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, and he is expected to proceed to Mecca as well, the sources asserted.
