Ambassador Mohamed Bin Youssef
Manama - Emirates Voice

Tunisian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohamed Bin Youssef was welcomed during a visit to the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) by President Abdulrahman Jawahery, members of the executive management and Deputy Chairman of the Labour Union.
Jawahery said the visit would contribute to strengthening cooperation with Tunisian petrochemical companies and would consolidate relations between Bahrain and Tunisia.
He briefed the ambassador on the company’s operations, corporate philosophy, programmes, achievements in terms of production, safety, marketing and environmental conservation.
Jawahery and the ambassador reviewed relations with Tunisian fertiliser companies and praised the way they had developed over the years.
The ambassador met several Tunisian women, who are in Bahrain as part of a joint programme supervised by the Institute of Public Administration to train future leaders.
He also toured the complex and went to the Ammonia, Methanol and Urea plants, closely looking at steps in place in the fields of safety, environment and occupational health. He saw the environmental and charitable projects like the Charity Fish Farm, the Medicinal Herbs Garden, the Vegetable Garden and the Bird Sanctuary, besides planting a palm tree to commemorate his visit.

The ambassador said he was happy to visit GPIC, which is a symbol of the GCC countries’ cooperation in the petrochemical industry. He applauded Arab cooperation in the field of training and human development and congratulated the Tunisian women trainees on the opportunity to train in Bahrain
