President Trump plans to hobnob with some of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful figures at the World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland, The White House said Tuesday.
Administration spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump was eager to attend the meeting of world leaders and business execs.
“The president welcomes opportunities to advance his America First agenda with world leaders,” Sanders said.
“At this year’s World Economic Forum, the president looks forward to promoting his policies to strengthen American businesses, American industries, and American workers.”
The billionaire president, who ran as a populist, will get a chance to huddle with some of the world’s richest individuals as well as top government officials from around the globe.
The forum will take place from Jan. 23 to Jan. 26.
