Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Transport Department and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture has opened the Royal Rose Hotel, Abu Dhabi, one of the City Seasons Group Hotels owned by the Bin Ham Group.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Sheikh Sultan unveiled a special plaque and cut the opening ribbon, after which he toured suites and the health service and recreational facilities. The hotel has 355 guest rooms and royal luxury suites and was built at a cost of Dh700 million dirhams.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sheikh Musallam Salem bin Ham Al Ameri, a Member of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Bin Ham Group, and a number of ambassadors and representatives of government institutions and companies.
Sheikh Musallam extended his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan for opening the Royal Rose, noting that the Bin Ham Group is seeking through its local investments to strengthen the national economy.
He said that the private sector plays an important role in stimulating economic activity in the country and become a complement to the role of the public sector.
He pointed out that the group is working to expand its business through the hotel sector, which is one of the main reasons for the growth of the tourism sector, attracting visitors from different parts of the world as the UAE has become a focal point of tourist attraction both regionally and globally.
