Famous author Sonya J. Sabbah is to hold a signing of her latest book "Etiquette in the City: Beirut" at the Sharjah International Book Fair on November 18. The book has been described as an illuminating, practical and often humourous guide on how to observe the rules of etiquette in Lebanon's lively capital city, is a reminder of old school courtesy with a modern day touch. The first in a series of books on etiquette around the region, it offers Etiquette with a 21st Century face-lift, showing that courtesy and civiity are here to stay. The book has been hailed as not simply a rule book but a set of anecdotal testimonies of life in the fast but polite lane in Lebanon.
