Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali called for unity to face up to terrorism which affected a number of Arab countries and extended to some world countries.
The minister's statements came during the 35th session of the Arab social affairs ministers council in Sharm El Sheikh under the auspices of the Arab League in the presence of delegations from 22 Arab countries.
The minister said the gathering will tackle the causes of terrorism and means to confront it, pointing out that terrorism hinders efforts to achieve sustainable development.
She called for preparing for the coming Arab summit in Morocco in March and for the Arab economic summit in Tunisia also next year.
