President Abdel Fattah El Sisi headed Wednesday for Saudi Arabia to attend the final stage of the joint military exercise "Thunder of the North".
Twenty countries including Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Qatar, and Jordan are participating in "Thunder of the North," which started last month in northern Saudi Arabia.
Sisi was keen on Egypt's participation in this drill as part of its role to promote security and stability of the region, said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef.
