Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will take part Tuesday in Libya's neighboring countries meeting in Algeria, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zaid.
The event will witness the participation of Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan, Algeria, Chad and Niger.
In press statements, Abu Zaid underlined that the meeting will tackle the ongoing efforts exerted to form a Libyan national consensus cabinet and the plan of United Nations (UN) Envoy to Libya Martin Kobler on this regard.
The meeting came after the get-together held between Shoukry and Kobler in Cairo amid regional and international efforts aiming at encouraging the Libyan parties to reach a political solution and form a government.
