Sheikha Amthal honoured by Kuwaiti Emir

The top honour His Highness the Emir bestowed on Chairperson of Volunteer Work Centre, Sheikha Amthal Al-Sabah was in honour of Kuwaiti women and all those who support and take part in the activities of the Volunteer Work Centre, she said, Monday. Sheikha Amthal was speaking to reporters following her receipt of a top honour from His Highness earlier in the day in appreciation of her efforts aimed at preserving the Kuwaiti environment and her voluntary action at Bayan Palace. \"This honour  further encourages and motivates us all to exert more effort in the service of our homeland, and to further promote the culture of volunteer action in all fields, including in environment preservation.\"
