A Saudi man gifting his wife a Hummer following Saudi Arabia's decision to lift a ban on female drivers has gone viral on social media, Al Arabiya reports.
A decree - issued on September 26 - ordered formation of a ministerial body to give advice within 30 days and then implement the order by June 2018.
There are about 10 million women, including foreigners, over the age of 20 living in the Kingdom, according to the official statistics bureau.
To celebrate the decree, several Saudi women posted images on social media deleting their ride sharing apps. News of the decision became the top trending topic on Twitter, with many posts tagged as #SaudiWomenCanDrive.
