General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior on Saturday made an inspection visit to the Yas Marina circuit which is hosting the 2011 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. His tour to the motorsports venue included the state-of-the-art operations room which was set up for the event and the field hospital on Yas Island. In remarks during the tour, Sheikh Saif reiterated the interest of the UAE's leadership in hosting such big sport events as a way to extend bridges of cooperation and friendship with peoples of the world. He urged the relevant authorities to advance the best services being offered to the public during the event. Sheikh Saif was accompanied by senior officials from the Minister of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police.
