H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, was briefed on the Certified Asset Management System, "ISO 55001" certificate, obtained by the Ministry of Interior through its General Directorate for Finance and Services.
His Highness received the certificate yesterday from Major General Ali Al Shamsi, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for Resources and Support Services, who was accompanied by the team that helped to earn the awarding of the international certificate. Also in attendance were Brigadier Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhahiri, Secretary-General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and several directors-general from the mnistry.
Major General Al Shamsi said that this achievement was accomplished due to the efforts of his team and based on accurate specifications, as per the directives of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan to develop the ministry’s work procedures and enhance its performance, according to the best international standards.
He added that obtaining the certificate was due to the support and directives of the police leadership, and reflects the ministry's strategy to implement the best international practices, as well as its desire to provide high-quality services.
"Being awarded this certificate can be added to the ministry’s list of achievements in the fields of quality, excellence and the sustainable management of public funds, according to its strategic direction," Al Shamsi continued, while expressing his appreciation of the officials and employees of the General Directorate for Finance and Services
