Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended this evening the last game in the UAE leg of the IPL 2014 Cricket Championship at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Sheikh Mohammed was greeted by 25,00 fans as he watched the match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the end of the championship's UAE leg with the India leg scheduled to start later this week. Present were Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Matar Mohammed Al Tayer, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, director General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department and a number of UAE and Indian officials. Sheikh Mohammed said he was glad to attend this thrilling encounter in Dubai which attracted huge numbers of fans. He wished all competing teams pleasant stay inDubai and success in the championship.
