New York based Palestinian performance poet, writer, and activist Remi Kanazi is to host the first event of his first UK tour in London. Titled ‘Poetic Injustice: an evening of political performance poetry’, the event is to be held at The Tabernacle on November 12. The line-up includes spoken word artists Rafeef Ziada and Poetic Pilgrimage, rapper Omar Offendum and activist poet Zita Holbourne. The event, compered by musicologist Randa Safieh will also feature a photographic exhibition by Samar Hazboun. Remi Kanazi's book ‘Poetic Injustice: Writings on Resistance and Palestine’ will be on sale.
