H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah, on Tuesday, personally distributed iftar meals to workers near the emirate's Public Works and Services Department as one of its initiatives for the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Mohammed Al Hammadi, the director-general of the department, said the initiative was in line with the humanitarian principles of Islam and the established values of generous giving and solidarity that are upheld by the Emirati society.
Such initiatives reflect the department's approach to social responsibility and volunteering, Al Hammadi noted.
