HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani attended here today a reception hosted by the members of the Society of Qatar Friends at the Congress (the American-Qatari Caucus), at the Congress premises.
Talks at the reception dealt with a number of topics of mutual interest, especially with regard to the consolidation of cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
HH the Emir expressed thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, praising the excellent relations of friendship between the State of Qatar and the United States, emphasizing the continuation of strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, particularly investment.
Views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest were also exchanged in a way that enhances US-Qatari positions towards the current developments.
For their part, the members of the Society welcomed HH the Emir, and praised the strong relations between the two countries and the role of HH the Emir and his attending such meetings which aimed at continuing communication and coordination between the two countries, which would strengthen the strategic partnership and promote relations between the two countries.
The reception was attended by a number of their excellencies members of official delegation accompanying HH the Emir.
