President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa - Spouse of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain - held a meeting with a number of Bahraini sportswomen and praised Bahraini sportswomen’s feats, highlighting the increasingly growing progress in the standard of sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Her Royal Highness announced the dedication of the logo of Bahraini Women’s Day next year (2012) to celebrate Bahaini sportswomen’s achievements. This statement was made by Her Royal Highness during a meeting she held today with a number of Bahraini female athletes whom she praised for their achievements at the GCC, regional and international sports arena. Her Royal Highness emphasized the significance of supporting this sector which contributes in the creation of ideal conditions and development of sports and she praised Bahraini women’s remarkable contributions and participation in various sports tournaments Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa hailed His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports cum President of the Bahraini Olympics Committee for his diligent support to sports and to athletes in the Kingdom of Bahrain as he helped them excell locally, regionally and internationally. Her Highness wished Bahraini sportspeople further progress and success. President of Women's Sports in the Bahraini Olympics Committee Shaikha Haya bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa praised His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports cum Chairman of the Bahrain Olympics Committee for his huge efforts in supporting sportswomen and promoting athletics in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
