Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association and FIFA Vice President expressed his appreciation to Prime Minister Marouf Al Bakhit for his support for the Jordanian National team (Al Nashama) at the World Cup Qualifer match that saw Jordan beating China 2:1. Prince Ali also thanked the Prime Minister for his pledge to support Jordanian football across the board. “We appreciate the Prime Minister’s support for our Nashama and we hope our government will play a leading role in strengthening football in Jordan,” said Prince Ali. “I have completed the club tours across the Kingdom and will submit a comprehensive report to the government, parliament and the press that outlines a clear strategy of how to address the needs of our clubs, our players and our youths; he said. “We at the Jordan Football Association look forward to working hand in hand with both the public and private sectors to back the clubs, which, in turn represent the backbone of Jordanian football, and to build the necessary football infrastructure for these clubs all across the country starting with those who need it the most,” he added. “By building the basic infrastructure, the government would essentially be addressing the needs of our youth, empowering our boys and girls and giving them opportunities to realize their potential and ultimately represent Jordan on the world stage of football,” Prince Ali commented.
