Prince Ali, FIFA vice president for Asia and president of the Jordan Football Association (JFA), on Tuesday attended the funeral of veteran Egyptian football coach Mahmoud Al Johary, who passed away in Amman on Monday. Johary, who was JFA technical director and adviser to Prince Ali, died of a brain clot and cerebral haemorrhage. Accompanied by a JFA delegation, the prince performed afternoon prayers at a Cairo mosque before the body was laid to rest. Earlier on Tuesday, Prince Ali attended a ceremony at Marka Military Airport for Johary, and was on board the Jordanian military plane that flew the coffin to the Egyptian capital.
