Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Thursday paid a visit to a small and medium industries center in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
Mahlab made the visit on the sidelines of his participation in the Asian-African Conference, held in Jakarta.
The premier expressed admiration for the quality of the products offered in the center, pointing that also Egypt seeks supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
Such projects may provide thousands of job opportunities, Mahlab said, noting that around 54 million people work in the SME sector in Indonesia.
Egyptian Planning Minister Ashraf el Arabi accompanied Mahlab on the visit.
