NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will travel to Kiev later on Thursday, the Alliance announced in a brief statement.
He will meet the President, Petro Poroshenko, the Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pavlo Klimkin, and the Speaker of the Parliament, Oleksandr Turchinov.
The 28-member Alliance has strongly condemned Russiaآ’s annexation of Crimea and suspended all practical cooperation with Russia. NATO has also underlined its support to the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
