His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, this morning received the credentials of new ambassadors of several friendly countries to the UAE, at Al Mushrif Palace.
Also present were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The Ambassadors were Mohamed Sad Ouro-Sama of Togo, Faalavaau Perina Jacqueline of Samoa, Sander Soone of Estonia, Amadou Sonrhai of Niger, Wilfred Ali of Malawi, Archbishop Francisco Padilla of Vatican City, Arvydas Daunoravicius of Lithuania, Tony Joudi of The Bahamas, Angel Ramon Cibils of Paraguay, Tan Bunpa of Cambodia, Roland Beridze of Georgia, Japhet Isaack of Namibia, Boukary Sidibe of Mali, and Ni Jian of the People's Republic of China .
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in boosting co-operation and friendship relations between the United Arab Emirates and their respective countries.
The ambassadors in turn extended the greetings of their countries’ leaders to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and their wishes for more progress and happiness for the people of the UAE.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, Mohammed Ibrahim AI Shaibani, Director-General of His Highness the Ruler's Court, Government of Dubai, and Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, along with a number of officials.
