His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday expressed his pride in the UAE leadership and the Armed Forces and the courage of Emiratis who sacrificed their lives for the sake of peace, justice and supporting the oppressed.
Sheikh Mohammed made the statement during his visit to the families of the three UAE soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of national duty as part of the Armed Forces' involvement in Operation Restoring Hope being carried out by the Saudi-led Arab coalition to back the legitimate government of Yemen.
Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, offered his deepest condolences to the family of martyr Khalid Mohammed Abdullah Al Shehhi as he visited the family home in Ras Al Khaimah.
He then visited the family of martyr Fahim Saeed Ahmad Al Habsi in Ras Al Khaimah. Sheikh Mohammed and his entourage offered their heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the martyr's family and relatives.
Sheikh Mohammed also visited the family of martyr Juma Jawaher Juma Al Hammadi in Sharjah. He extended his deepest condolences and sympathy to the martyr's family and prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy on the martyrs and place them in paradise and grant their families the patience and solace to bear the loss.
"The military service is an honour, and an allegiance and loyalty to the nation and its leadership that does not spare money and efforts to take care of its citizens to keep them happy and ensure a decent life. The UAE leadership spares no effort to maintain security and safety of our society as well as our country's sovereignty and safeguard our national resources and humanitarian culture in the service of our people and happiness of nations throughout the world,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
