His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, this evening called Egypt's President Abdul Fatah Al Sisi, expressing his sincere condolences for the families of the victims of the Friday mosque massacre in northern Sinai.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed during the phone conversation prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the martyrs in peace and provide their families with solace and patience, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE's full solidarity with Egypt against all forms of terrorism, expressing confidence that the Egyptian people will survive all challenges.
He doubled on the necessity of ensuring pan-Arab stance against terrorism and its threats to international peace and stability.
For his part, the Egyptian president expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm feelings shown by H.H. Sheikh Mohamed for Egypt, and its leadership and people, underlining the robust and privileged strategic relations binding the two sisterly nations
