His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has attended a mass wedding, including 11 grooms, held by Al Bateen Majlis in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, H.H. Sheikh Dhiyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a number of Sheikhs, Abdullah Al Masaood, Chairman of the National Consultative Council and relatives of the grooms and brides. Sheikh Mohamed said the sponsorship of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Emiratis is prompted by his love and affection to the community, adding that the leadership is interested in taking part in the occasions of Emiratis so as to ensure cohesion. He commended the initiative of Al Bateen Majlis, which embodies solidarity, fraternity and love in a way that reflects Emirati culture and authentic Arab values, calling for preserving the social values and family bonds to protect the community. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi hoped that such majlises would draw community members closer. He congratulated the grooms on the occasion, wishing them happy family life based on love. For their part, the relatives and inhabitants of Al Bateen district expressed their pleasure about the attendance of Sheikh Mohamed and other Sheikhs in the ceremony.
