Marzouki extends Christmas greetings to Christians

On Christmas, President of the Republic Mohamed Moncef Marzouki extended, in his own name and on behalf of all Tunisians, Christmas greetings "to Christians in Tunisia and the world over." Mr. Marzouki also extended his good wishes, on Saturday in a telephone conversation, to Archbishop of Tunis Maroun Lahham. "Tunisia will always be a land of peaceful coexistence for all religions and cultures, a country that guarantees all rights, including freedom of religion," the President of the Republic said.
