Ibrahim Keita, President of Mali, on Saturday opened the embassy of his country in Abu Dhabi.
Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Boukary Sidibe of Mali said he was delighted to represent his country in the UAE, given its prominent standing regionally and internationally.
He also thanked the UAE for the humanitarian assistance it extended to his country.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Shehab Ahmed Al Fahim, Assistant Under-Secretary for Protocol Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with a number of Arab and foreign diplomats attended the opening ceremony.
