Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance, last night attended a reception ceremony hosted by Barbara Leaf, US Ambassador to the UAE, ahead of the occasion of the Independence Day of her country, which is marked on 4th July.
Others who attended the ceremony, which was held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, included Saeed Al Qamzi, Director of Visits Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a number of senior officials, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the state, businessmen, and members of the American community living in the country.
In a speech on the occasion, the US Ambassador praised the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the cooperation relations between the two countries in all fields, lauding the continuous development of the UAE at all levels.
