President of Kyrgyzstan has arrived in Moscow for medical treatment, the president’s press service said on Friday.
On the recommendation of specialists and at the invitation of the Russian side, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev has arrived at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation in Moscow to continue treatment with doctors who had previously conducted an examination and treated him for heart disease, according to Sky News channel.
On Monday, a statement on the president's official website said the Kyrgyz leader would not attend the 71st session of the UN General Assembly in New York due to health problems.
On Tuesday, Atambayev's press service said that the head of state was on a short-term vacation for medical examinations in Turkey and planned to return to work on October 1.
