Kuwaiti Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah left for Beijing today on an official visit to China at an invitation by his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang. He said in a press release prior to his departure that the visit aims to boost relations and cooperation with other countries and benefit from the Chinese economic experience to fast-track development in Kuwait.
He said Kuwait should actively interact with its regional and international surrounding, as well as cement relations with all countries. He praised the successful economic experience in the East Asian countries, in general, and in China, in particular.
He added that he will hold talks with senior Chinese officials on bilateral relations and issues of common interest.
