Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), Lt-Gen Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and Health Minister Faeqa Al-Saleh accompanied with South Korean National Assembly Health and Social Affairs Committee Chairman Seung-Jo Yang and the associating delegation today paid a visit to Halat Bu-Maher Health Center.
The visit within the framework of cooperation programme between the two countries in preparation for the implementation of the National Social Health Insurance System – Sehati, or “My Health.”
The Korean delegation was briefed on Bahrain’s primary healthcare services, the health center’s services provided to citizens and residents, and workflow there.
The delegation lauded the advanced level of primary healthcare services provided, including preventive health services of high quality, which reflects the development of medical and social services in Bahrain.
Seung-Jo Yang paid tribute to the existing partnership with the Supreme Council of Health and the future steps in preparation for the implementation of the National Social Health Insurance System – Sehati, or “My Health.” He took pride in launching the project in cooperation with Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Services
