His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Monday evening, discussed with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, the crisis in the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram al-Sharif.
During a phone call, His Majesty stressed the need to find an immediate solution and remove the causes of the ongoing crisis in the Al-Haram Al-Sharif, to restore the situation to what it was before the outbreak of the crisis and full reopen the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
King Abdullah also emphasized the necessity of removing measures adopted by the Israeli side since the outbreak of the crisis and the importance of agreeing on measures to prevent the reoccurrence of such escalation in the future, in a manner that ensures respect for the historical and legal status in Al-Haram al-Sharif.
