US President Barack Obama will meet Jordanian King Abdullah II on February 14 at Sunnylands, the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Estate in Rancho Mirage, California, Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes has said. The United States and Jordan are close friends and historic partners that have worked together to promote peace, prosperity, and reform, he has added. Obama and Abdullah will discuss opportunities to strengthen the US-Jordan strategic partnership and how to advance political, economic, and security cooperation. The two leaders will also continue consultations on regional developments, including Middle East peace and Syria, according to Rhodes
