His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday started a working visit to New York, the second leg of his tour which started in Paris, to participate in the 69th UN General Assembly meetings.
The King will be leading Jordan's delegation to the meetings during which he will deliver a keynote address to review Jordan's stance towards developments in the region as well as challenges facing it.
King Abdullah will also meet on the sidelines of the meetings with a number of world leaders and other senior political figures taking part in the meetings.
His Majesty has concluded a working visit to Paris where he held summit with French President Francois Hollande, met with French Prime Minister Manuel Valls and visited the French National Assembly and the French Senate.
In Paris, the King also met with a number French businessmen and representatives of economic activities as well as a selected intellectual, political, academic and religious leaders.
