The Judicial and Legal Studies Institute (JLSI), in cooperation with the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), has staged a workshop on the latest legislation on electronic transactions.
A member of the Expert Group of Asia-Pacific Electronic Trade of the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), Luca Castellani, tackled topics related to e-trade, rules and tools applied to e-transactions and their legal effects.
Economic Development Board Advisor Dr. Jameel Al-Alawi reviewed the local electronic trade law and visions to develop it in conformity with the UNCITRAL provisions.
JLSI Director Dr. Ramzan Al-Nuaimi highlighted keenness to broaden cooperation with the international expertise for the development of local legislation in line with the global economic requirements.
