Deputy Chief of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Kay Yanagisawa will start a four-day official visit to Egypt Tuesday.
During his stay, Yanagisawa is due to attend a meeting of the board of trustees of the Egypt-Japan University for Science and Technology (E-JUST) and hold talks with a number of Egyptian officials, including Presidential Adviser for National Security Affairs Fayza Abul Naga.
The visit comes in the light of the two countries' keenness to boost bilateral ties in the different fields, JICA said in a statement.
Also, Yanagisawa and his accompanying delegation are expected to inspect a number of joint projects being implemented under the supervision of the JICA, especially a project to develop Children's University Hospital in Munira (Abu El Reesh Hospital) and the Grand Egyptian Museum's project.
