Iran's President Hassan Rouhani left Tehran for Hanoi early for a two-day official visit to Vietnam.
President Rouhani and his Vietnamese counterpart Tran Dai Quang will discuss ways to develop cooperation between the two countries in areas of common interest, according to Iran's (IRNA) News Agency.
From Vietnam, President Rouhani will embark on a visit to Thailand to attend the 2nd Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) summit which will be held in Bangkok from October 8-10.
