Hollande holds meeting on Syria, Iraq

French President Francois Hollande held a defense cabinet meeting in Elysee on Thursday to discuss the latest developments in Syria and Iraq.
The French presidency said in a statement that the cabinet evaluated the diplomatic and military steps taken by Hollande to launch a political transition process in Syria and defeat Daesh terrorist group.
The meeting also tackled continuing French military operations in Syrian and Iraq.
