His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone call with the Egyptian President, Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, and offered warmest condolences over the victims of the terrorist armed attack that had targeted a bus carrying Coptic Christians in the Minya Province, and left scores dead or wounded.
HM the King affirmed his strong condemnation and denunciation of such criminal terrorist acts which target innocent civilians, and are rejected by the International Community and contravene all divine religions and human values.
HM King Hamad reiterated Bahrain’s categorical rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and support of the efforts being exerted by the International community to combat it and dry up its funding sources.
HM the King prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the victims in eternal peace, bless their relatives with patience and the wounded with speedy recovery and safeguard brotherly Egypt against all evil.
