H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Chairman of the Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones, ZonesCorp and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, ADIA, has visited the SK Museum for Information Technology and Communication in Seoul, South Korea.
H.H. Sheikh Hamed listened to a brief explanation from the museum organisers about the goals of the museum and its role in the development of the future vision of the role of technology in the daily lifestyle, especially the way of using communication and technology in everyday life and how these techniques can transform our lives into a new innovational lifestyle.
H.H. toured a number of sections, including the electronic home department, which included a practical explanation for future technologies and how they can help in the management of home affairs and communication with the outside world, for example in the following-up of health matters for the user and means of communication with others.
The tour also included the recreation department, which provides a future vision into the next technological world where users can communicate and play with virtual digital characters in addition to an electronic driving section.
H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed concluded his visit to the museum with a tour of the electronic shopping centre and getting to know how technology can integrate with the form and type of shopping that users wish to have.
Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed was accompanied by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, and Abdullah Khalfan Al Rumaithi, UAE Ambassador to South Korea.
