- H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, continued his tour of several cities in Al Dhafra, under the framework of his support for the region and his interest in monitoring the conditions of local residents and the services provided to them.
As part of the tour, Sheikh Hamdan visited Al Sila, where he inspected the Marabi Al Sila Mosque Project, organised by the Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada, which has a capacity of some 1,000 worshippers and is 70 percent complete.
The mosque, which is funded by the ERC and supervised by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, will serve a large segment of local residents, due to its proximity to the city’s district council and the Marabi Al Sila Residential Project.
Sheikh Hamdan also inspected an innovative real estate project, which involves knocking down old buildings, which include 78 old houses, and re-use the land for residential projects for local residents while utilising unoccupied areas that have good infrastructure.
